Be Prepared
So your gonna spend a day out on the water. A few recommendations for things to bring along
Food: Something easy and not to messy, Sandwich, chips, a lot of guys like to bring cold chicken seems to be
pretty good!
Money: Need cash for Express Tolls, Fish Cleaning, and Gratuity for Deckhands
Sunscreen: I do not know how many people I have seen get completely baked out on the water. So please bring some sunscreen or wear a long sleeve shirt
Sunglasses: Bring 2 Pairs, It can be a long day on the water without them, and it never fails if you bring your expensive Oakley, Nike etc, there is a high possibly of loosing them, So bring a couple pairs of elcheapo's for the day.
Motion Sickness: Recommend taking one the night before, and one 30 mins before getting on the boat. Also bring some along just incase. It can be a very long miserable day on the boat if you do not feel well.
Ice Chest: You do not necessarily have to bring a big one onto the boat, but its nice to keep one in the car, so when you catch that big fish you have something to put it in back at the port.
Zip Lock Baggies: We offer fish cleaning service at the port ¥200-¥300 per fish depending on size, its always nice to have some baggies to put the fresh fish in.
Hand Towel: You will be handling fish bait, and fish at times. Once you touch the bait, what do you do? Well I see it time and time again, you wipe the fish guts and slim on your pants or shirt, and then handle the fishing reels. Some of the fishing gear on the boats are really expensive, so please be respectful and wash your hands in the water bucket provided and have a towel handy to dry them!
Change of Clothes: It's always nice to have a fresh set of clothes. Some of the boats we get on have AC in the cabins, and the Captains would like for people to change out of their nasty clothes before riding back in the AC.
Extras: These are nice to have but are not a must,
Knife
Pliers
Hat
Camera
A GOOD ATTITUDE: Everyone is out fishing to have a good time, so please be courteous of other fisherman and enjoy yourself!
